Each week we ask our readers a simple question about their Travellers Notebooks and how they use them.
So this weeks question:
Do you use a pen holder in your Travellers Notebook?
Please answer in the comments below, although I know a few of you will answer my question on Facebook.
Yes! I use the pen loop in my chic sparrow but also I attach another in my notebook for another pen handy!
I bought a Midori medium pen loop for my regular size, and whilst it does the job admirably it looks and feels very much an add on, so usually now I just tuck my pen or pencil through the elastic. I’m sure I shall give the pen loop another go though.
Depends on which TN I’m using. A couple of my TNs don’t have pen loops and I have the pen held by the elastic – it’s usually tight enough against the notebooks that it stays put. In the Meadowgate Leather TN I use the built-in pen-loop.
No, I don’t. They get in my way when writing!
No, but I wish I did
Yes i do!! and if a notebook does have one i have my trusty midori brand to add to it.
Yes I use the Midori pen holder on my passport size Midori traveller’s notebook.
No, I can never stick to just one pen
Yes, I always need a pen handy.
Yes…I use the pen holder for 1 pen and then a binder clip for another pen !
Yes, I have a Van Der Spek Nomad and got a pen loop added so I can always have something handy to write with!
I have 3 tn’s. 2 I use a pen holder in
Yes, I use 2 medium pen holder on my passport size.
Yes, If my TN doesn’t come with a pen loop, I add one.
no, but would like to have an additional pen holder for my midori.
I use a binder clip to hold my pen.
Yes. I use the brown Midori pen holder for my camel MTN. I like the contrast.
Unfortunately, unless I also wanted pockets, I did not get a pen loop with my FF Marina. I did buy a Midori pen loop, but that sucker is difficult to get onto the TN. I do have two stitched pen loops on my CS Maverick and love it!
